Southwest Art Saturday-AIS All Member Paintout

All Member Paintout open to all AIS Members! Includes breakfast, lunch and closing party sponsored by Southwest Art Magazine.

We will have a model (9:00am to 12:30pm) and still life set ups indoors at the Peninsula School of Art, 3900 County Road F, Fish Creek WI, and for those who would like to paint outdoors "en plein air," we will also be painting in nearby Clark Park, downtown Fish Creek and the surrounding area. 

Check in at the Peninsula School of Art's gazebo beginning at 8:00am to get your canvases/substrates stamped, pick up a map of painting locations, sign a waiver and enjoy a light breakfast sponsored by Southwest Art Magazine. 

If you plan to enter the Wet Room Competition, each member may turn in one painting on Saturday afternoon by 2:30pm at Peninsula School of Art. Your painting will need to be displayed on your easel/pochade and does not need to be framed. Wet Room Show and Sale will run from 4 to 6pm. Awards will be presented for Best of Show, 2nd and 3rd place!

Lunch, provided courtesy of Southwest Art Magazine, will be served at 1:30pm at the Peninsula School of Art's gazebo. A closing cocktail party with appetizers for AIS members and a guest, also sponsored by Southwest Art, will be held at The Cookery in Fish Creek from 7:30 to 8:30pm - please RSVP for the farewell cocktail party separately so we have a definite count for food.  

Artists will take unsold work with them after the sale ends at 6pm.
