Welcome to the American Impressionist Society Founded in 1998 by four Florida artists in honor of their mentor, William Schultz. Thanks to the vision of Charlotte M. Dickinson, Marjorie I. Bradley, Pauline S. Ney and William Schultz, we have celebrated over twenty years of service to artists currently working in the style of Impressionism. AIS has grown to be one of the most respected national art organizations in the country, with over 1,850 members nationwide. AIS partners with galleries and arts organizations to present our National and Small Works Showcase each year. In 2020, we launched our first AIS Online Exhibition and our new Artist Retreats. AIS 2021 Associate Members Online Exhibition Entries accepted: February 1-March 1, 2021 AIS is pleased to offer our Associate Members this new online exhibition which was suggested through our member survey. AIS will offer another Online Exhibition for all members in August 2021. Notification Date: April 15, 2021 Online Exhibition: April 30 - June 30, 2021 This Online Exhibition is open for entries from our Associate Members only. ● AIS Associate members may enter up to five artworks. ● $20 entry fee for your first painting and $10 per painting up to a total of five paintings ● Artists receive 100% of commission! ● Artwork does not have to be for sale. ● All accepted works will be posted in a special AIS online gallery and AIS Facebook pages. ● No size limitations ● No shipping! No framing! ● Acceptance in the AIS Online Exhibition does not count toward AIS Signature Membership. ● Awards Judge: Anne Blair Brown AIS ● $5,000 in cash prizes.

AIS Master Member Nominations AIS will accept nominations for Master Membership from January 15-February 15, 2021 A nominee for AIS Master Membership must be a nationally known Impressionist artist with accolades and awards received throughout the past decade of their career. AIS Master Members may be nominated by any current, active AIS Masters Members, Board Members or Founders. Active AIS Signature Members in good standing may self-nominate if they meet the stated requirements. AIS will open a second round of nominations in October of 2021 to coincide with our Signature Membership applications from October 1st through November 15th each year thereafter. |
