Signature Member Application

Applications are accepted

October 1-November 15

AIS will announces new Signature Members in mid-December. 

Acceptance into the AIS Online Exhibitions does not qualify for Signature status. 

Once you have achieved Signature Member status, you do not reapply each year. You must pay your annual dues to continue to sign AIS after your name and be eligible to enter AIS exhibitions. 

To apply for AIS Signature Membership:

You must be an AIS Associate member a minimum of three consecutive years

AND

Accepted into Three

AIS National Juried Exhibitions

OR

Two AIS National Juried Exhibitions and Two AIS Small Works Showcases.

Your AIS membership dues must have been paid during the years you are listing as exhibition acceptances. Your membership cannot have lapsed during the span of time between exhibition acceptances.  

Current AIS Signature Members may:

• Enter AIS National Exhibition, AIS Impressions Small Works Showcase and AIS Online Exhibition. 
• Sign "AIS" after their name
• Participate in Critiques
• Maintain Signature status with payment of annual dues each year. If you miss a year or years, you will need to pay for the lapsed years. 
• When requested, serve as Awards Judge for Associate Member Online Exhibitions. 
• When requested, serve as jurors for AIS exhibitions.
