Two Day Oil Painting Workshop

This workshop is an event during the Opening Week of 8th Annual Small Works Showcase.   

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Dan's workshop will focus on a loose approach to painting the subject. Other ways to "see" will be discussed using the painter's language of line, shape, value, color, texture and edge. A demonstration will begin each day of the workshop, during which he will explain his artistic process.

Dan will give individual attention to each student as they work in order to enhance their personal experience at the workshop. This workshop is focused on assisting the students in simplifying their intent and learning how to use the six visual elements to give their painting both direction and the "reason to be".  This workshop will use live model each day. Students may also work from photographs.

If AIS cancels, students are given a full refund.  AIS will offer a partial refund of 80% of fee if students need to cancel up to April 5.
